Clearlake Winter Festival and Parade Scheduled December 5, With Free Activities and Tree Lighting

CLEARLAKE, Calif. — October 31, 2026. Clearlake is looking ahead to a December community celebration with a festival, parade and evening tree lighting at Austin Park.

The city’s recreation calendar lists the Winter Festival and Parade for Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Austin Park, 14077 Lakeshore Drive, Clearlake, CA 95422. The official listing states that admission is free.

Festival schedule

According to the posted event details, festival activities are expected to begin at 2 p.m. The parade is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by tree lighting at approximately 6:30 p.m. Those times are the city’s published plan as of October 31 and may be revised by organizers.

The city describes the event as a family gathering. It has not provided a complete program, parking map, road-closure list, vendor lineup or weather contingency in the brief listing available to California58. Visitors should check for updates rather than assume a particular performance or attraction will be present.

Tips for families

Residents who plan to stay into the evening may want warmer clothing for outdoor December conditions. As with any large public gathering, allow time for parking and walking, supervise younger children and follow temporary traffic or pedestrian instructions if posted on the day.

People who want to participate in the parade, volunteer or ask about accessibility should consult the city’s recreation staff through its official channels. The calendar listing does not specify participation deadlines.
